One Word For You: DOGS!!!

My parents and I dropped by a nearby church to check out the dogs up for adoption. Here's a couple pics. I especially like the second picture, cute how the pugs are vying for the little girl's attention. Anyways, it was nice getting out of the house, especially for something as fun as this!

Aw.

I'm a total sucka for dogs. They are just so cool.

Got your email! I'm glad we can talk to each other about our challenges. I will write back soon, I have some headache ideas and advice.
Did you go home with a new dog?

do you buy the dogs or get them for free? I love the pugs....I would like one!!! I would call it einstein

Churches shilling dogs now. If Jesus showed up he'd knock over their kennels for sure.

WAT: Dogs=coolest! I do love cats though too.

Sonja: Yay! I look forward to the advice and ideas. Noooo, we didn't get a dog, I think we're still going to wait for a while. We really want another German Shepherd :)

Les: Hmmm, we actually didn't ask but I think they were free. Einstein is a great name for a dog, naming your dog after intellectuals is a great idea! I think I'd call my dog Schopenhauer or Schrodinger or Fermi. Any of those would work :)

DB: Haha, Jesus would be seriously mad. Anyone getting a vision... I'm imagining a Rambo Jesus coming to rain down some serious punishment, oh wait, I forgot, that's judgement day!!! Boy, I am in big trouble for making jokes like this.

It always makes me sad to go these adoption events. I am such a dog guy, it hurts not to take every one home with me. With two dogs already, I just can't do it.

I know Mrmanuel, I just wish I could take every dog home. They are such sweet creatures, it breaks my heart worrying that some of them might not get homes.

I admit one of those shots had me thinking of Cujo but I hope all the pooches find good homes!

I'm not quite sure who Cujo is, I'm trying to look it up and it seems like its a movie about a dog named Cujo who gets rabies and terrorizes a town! Haha, I gotta see that.

Ah ok, this whole Cujo thing did have me a bit confused, so it was originally a book.

Yeah, those animals, you feel terrible not bringing them all home with you.
