The Lion's Roar

Lion's roar wasn't so impressive. But we told him it was scary and impressive because we don't want him to feel discouraged. We're thoughtful like that.

I'm no scientist, but I think this proves lions shouldn't get their hair cut.

Am I too late for the Nobel? How about the MacArthur Genius Award?

Look at how frightened those children are... they're positively grimacing over the mighty Meep! That's what we'll tell Lion anyway.

No one should assume anything based on his mild roar. His bite may be worse than his bark. I mean, roar.

Sebastien, I got my shirt and my original art work. Thanks! I lurve it all.

That’s exactly the meep I make when I’m trying to scare off the bogey man. Then I run.

It looks like he's really trying to sound fierce, though. The effort is there.

I think this drawing is me. I make a meep sound a lot. And can be a lion...

People In The Sun: You are correct. It's like the Samson story. and you are not too late, you will be nominated for a 2010 nobel :) I would vote for you!

Ananda Girl: Yes, he needs an ego boost, poor guy.

Laura: Yay!!! so happy it's well-arrived :)

Jeaux: I too, like to get my meep in before I start running away from the bad guys.

Tara: Effort is important!

Pamela: Making meep sounds is very therapeutic, haha! I sing meep songs in the shower...

I make the meep after I eat. It's involuntary. But I like it anyway...

Meeps can actually sound quite ferocious. It is a subtle art.
