Door Quotes.

We all go through hard times in life. Life wouldn't be life without its struggles.

A while back I found some quotes that I really liked. I wrote them on some notecards and taped them to my door. I've written about these quotes before, but I wanted to share them again. I know some of you are going through your own difficult times, so, who knows, maybe these quotes will resonate with you and give you an extra bit of courage and strength!

These quotes have really helped me through my own struggle with illness.

Best to all of you. And I know this is a bit hokey, but you gotta find inspiration where you can!

By the way, please feel free to share quotes that have meaning for you.

Good idea! I have my own little quote collection on my computer. Here's my favorite:

"If there is a way to overcome the suffering, then there is no need to worry; if there is no way to overcome the suffering, then there is no use in worrying." -Shantideva

you are so inspiring, seb. it's remarkable how you have embraced your illness, however unpleasant and painful and unwanted. adversity and trials are what change us and mold us into the people we were meant to be.

Tara: Thanks Tara, and they really help too!

Lauren: Thank you for sharing, I'm going to write that one down and post it on the door of power!

Sonja: Wonderful quotes, thank you, they will be going on the door of power! I especially like the first one (I like the 2nd too), but that first one is spot on.

Good for me: Awww, thank you! It's true, these events shape us into what we are meant to become. And I'm also very blessed to have a wonderful family to help me through this.

What a cool and creative idea! And what a great handwriting you have! (sigh) I wish mine was just as legible, mine is worse than a doctor's.

Good for me: Yeah, I can't believe how lucky I am sometimes.

Mariana: Haha, I never thought I had good hand writing! I'm sure yours is better than you think (maybe :)

"Whatever you do, you need courage. Whatever course you decide upon, there is always someone to tell you, you are wrong. There are always difficulties arising which tempt you to believe that your critics are right. To map out a course of action and follow it to the end, requires some of the same courage which a soldier needs." -Emerson

It's on my fridge.
Sexy hand, btw.

I like how you've arranged the quotes. The last one in particular caught my eye the most, but all of them are highly inspirational.

Hey this is really cool ... I may have to do something like this. I'm such a copycat. But isn't there some saying about mimicry being the best flattery or something to that effecT?
