Valentine's Day.

Mmmmm, miam, miam... Oh, sorry. I was just chewing on some of these cables that are plugged into the wall. Super tasty. I got a weird buzz from them. Cooooool.

Hope you are all having a happy Valentine's Day! Eat lots of chocolate. Whether you are single or with someone, just enjoy the chocolates. That's what the holiday is about. It's what every holiday should be about. Unfortunately the holiday nazis have decided that we can't turn every holiday into chocolate eating happy day. Whatever, every holiday, hell, every day, should be a chocolate eating happy day.

Do I have anything serious to say? Of course not.

The telephone tried to eat me. It smokes my opium and turns into crazy phone monster... Must. keep. calm. Don't you hate people or objects that do that, they partake in your personal stash of drugs and turn into some crazy loon... At least repay me by being funny, stupid crazy phone...

And yes, I know I need to call people. But phone, you are such a crazy bastard I'm scared of sticking my face near you...

Chocolate is just as great, fantastic even...it doesn't answer back (I'm getting too excited here)...Have a great day Sebastien, and yeah I'm like that with the phone too..I tell it to stay back (not to ring either, esp after I get home from work and I have telemarketers from India offering me discounted phone carrier services).

Oye muchacho,

A great terrific, really terrific book on colonialism and the damaging effects on Latin America is: "Las venas abiertas de América". It was written by an Uruguayan named Eduardo Galeano.

I read it back in college and found it quite eye-opening. Hopefully you can read it in the original Spanish, but it is widely popular and available en inglés too.

My V-day was a day early, it was awesome. And then there was plenty of chocolate on the actual day.

Great post. Very Charlie Kaufman. Thanks for your awesome words to me both on blog and off. You're not half bad yourself.

There were still chocolate candies lingering around work today, so I grabbed some randomly. Also grabbed some Willy Wonka heart candies which I also like. To my pleasant surprise, the chocolate hearts were filled with peanut butter. Bonus.

Do you think you might have cat genes in you? My mom's cat likes to chew through lamp cords. Apparently it doesn't bother him to the point of stopping. :)

I know what you mean! Sometimes the phone is just sitting their all by itself real quiet like and then all of a sudden it makes a weird ringing noise! What's that all about? FAZ

Hi Sebastian,

I am sorry that you are sick. I see that you mention having a doctor that actually believes that you have chronic ebv! That is a rare and beautiful thing. I have been struggling with something similar for a very long time. Do you might telling me that name of your doctor in Phoenix? I live in Tucson. If you do not wish to announce it on your blog you could email me at pinkyrat2@yahoo.com if you have time.

Thanks!

Good for me: Haha, miam miam, chocolatey stuff is a life force! Glad to hear you had a wonderful time with your son!

Anastasia: Oh yeah, doesn't answer back, so damn true! The phone is truly evil, it is a known fact.

WAT: Thanks buddy, I wrote this down and hopefully I can find this book soon!

Babybull: Yeah, don't know why I keep mentioning opium, haha. I'm stupid like that.

Silver: Glad to hear you had a nice day! Of course every day filled with chocolate is a nice day...

Fringes: Thanks so much Fringes, you're the bestest!

Tara: Oh, the cat genes, that is a great question, I've always been worried I might have evil duckbill platypus genes, but hopefully they are just cat genes...

Taarzaan: Hope you had a great Valentine's!

Faz: Yes, maybe the phone is just begging for attention, it's so spoiled like that.

Helen: LSD? Peyote? Your answer is as good as mine!

Sonja: In terms of evilness, phones come a close second to the most nefarious creature of all, the duckbill platypus.

Hedy: Thanks Hedy! Your sweet, glad to hear you had some chocolate tonight, gotta get the fix ya know.

Sarah: I sent you an email, hope you receive it! And I hope you are doing ok, sounds like you have a great mindset, I look forward to hearing from you.
