Working at the Factory. Plus Words and Phrases to Encourage Crazy Google Searches

The summer of 2001, that was a summer I'll always remember. It was the summer I worked in a factory making tail lights for cars like the Kangoo (seriously, I'd be embarrassed if I drove a car with that kind of name!), Range Rover, and Toyotas. It actually wasn't so bad. Now that I think about it, it was a lot like this...

I'm including the draft, kind of fun to compare pre and post photoshop I think. It's a busy scene, maybe too much, can't really distinguish one thing from another, but who cares!

Anyways, as you might guess, I've been feeling better the past couple days, since I'm able to do this stuff! The art I usually make (when I'm healthy) is sooo different, I paint from life, very detailed, realistic, all that jazz, I won't get into it for now because it's hard talking about something you can't do. All in due time, I'm just happy to be making something!

Words and phrases to encourage more crazy google searches:

Hi Seb. I sorta met you at Mr. Fab's where you said you couldn't barter cuz, well, you know...then I'd be a pimp.

You could too barter. Your art rocks! I'd barter for it. But that's not why I'm here...to woo you. I was just saying hi. I didn't even know you were an artist.

Who are some of your favorite artists?

I hope you are feeling better...and look forward to seeing more art...and of course the blog searches. I think my favorite is i ate all the medicine is that bad!

Cindra: Why thank you for the kind words! I dropped by your blog and left you a message...
Ohhhh, favorite artists, a subject no one wants to get me started on! maybe I should do a post on that... ok, ummm, quick, contemporary I love Lucian Freud, Ivan Albright (my fav), I like Rothko, uh,uh...older stuff I love Flemish painting like Van Eyck, Dieric Bouts, Roger van der Weyden...I like Dutch painting too, genre scenes by guys like ter Borch, and I love still lives by guys like Chardin and Pieter Claesz...oh crap, I could talk about this all day.

Shaymus: Hey I think we have that here, or something really similar. I am far from knowledgeable in that area!

Oh, that place looks like fun! I'm glad you are feeling well enough to create again. It will be great to see your "usual" art.
Pimping for google searches, eh? Those are some creative ones. I've had a few people looking for ummmm.... cats lately. I don't understand why.

Talk on, brother. We share a lot of the same favorites. Tom and I went to Amsterdam for our honeymoon in 2002 and I about died right there...Van Eycks and Vermeers and so much more...

I wanted to tell you that I just showed Tom your artwork because I'm so excited you'll trade...and he is a graphic design professor, and a very accomplished commercial artist...and he is really excited about your work...we both agree that it is fresh and fun, but not too "cute". I am so glad I happened upon your blog. Email me when you get time...there's a link at the barter page...and we'll talk. In the meantime...feel better, and keep doing that awesome stuff yer doin'!

You're on your way to stardom, Sebastien! I too love your work, it's full of stuff without seeming too cluttered. If you want more crazy searches try also dropping the name of a few stars here and there. Apart from that I think you've exhausted all possible combinations! :D

Cindra: Wow, thanks Cindra!!! Thank you so much for the encouragement, it always means a lot when people say such good things! I'll email you in the coming days, I'm feeling zonked at the moment, but I can't wait!!!

Mariana: Haha, I always wanted to be a rock star! Thank you Mariana, and that is a great idea about name dropping the stars, I better get to it!

I think we might have to explore the possibilites of the duckbill platypuses and the weapon of mass destruction cats working in conjunction with terrorists. I may have to remind people about the WMD cats as it's been awhile since I posted about the issue.

Allen: Thanks! Yeah, I can understand that, maybe because it looks simpler?

Babs: Oh yeah! You gotta, this is a vital national interest thingy. Alert the masses!

Lauren: Haha, maybe I will, but it's going to be a bloodbath!
